Projects We've completed

At the Milestones Centre for Sustainable Development, Food Security, and Climate Action, we are dedicated to initiating and supporting projects that drive significant change in our communities and beyond. Our projects span various themes, all designed to address the pressing challenges of sustainability, food security, and climate resilience. Here, we showcase some of our flagship projects that demonstrate our commitment and impact.

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT (NIGERIA)

Developing Proposal on Carbon Inventory Assessment and Carbon Emission Refference Level for the Federal Ministry of Environment.

REDD+ SECRETARIAT

We are providing Technical Support to REDD+ National Secretariat We are providing Complimentary support to the REDD+ National Secretariat in preparing sub-nationals to implement the REDD+ programme. We are providing Technical Support to REDD+ National Secretariat in Monitoring & Reporting REDD+ implementation in Cross Rivers State.

ABIA STATE GOVERNMENT

We are providing Technical Support to Abia State Government on the Development of REDD+ State Actions Plans/State Strategy. We are supporting Abia State Government for REDD+ Activation, Readiness & stakeholder engagement.

SOKOTO STATE GOVERNMENT

We are providing Technical Support to Sokoto State Government on the Development of REDD+ State Actions Plans/State Strategy. We are supporting Sokoto State Government for REDD+ Activation, Readiness & Institutional Capacity Building.

KADUNA STATE GOVERNMENT

e are providing Technical Support to Kaduna State Government on the Development of REDD+ State Actions Plans/State Strategy. We are supporting Kaduna State Government for REDD+ Activation, Readiness & Safeguards.

OFFICE OF THE SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE NIGERIAN PRESIDENT ON INTERNATIONAL COOPERATIONS

Proposal for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 2024 meeting.

PRIVATE SECTOR

We designed and implemented a Climate Smart Agriculture/Green House Project for PARADISSA SARL in Yaounde, Cameroon.

ASSOCIATION FOR NORTHERN WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS (ANWE)

We provided Technical Support to the Association of Northern Women Entrepreneurs on the implementation of the following programmes/projects supported by the US and France embassies:- Agroforestry for Improved Livelihoods and Environmental Conservation through Solar Water Irrigation for Rural Farmers in Dundaye, Sokoto West Nigeria (Supported by the Embassy of France through the PISCCA program). Beneficiaries impacted were 571 farmers of which 70% were women. Implementation of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs Project of the US Embassy in Sokoto and Kebbi States. This project impacted 200 direct beneficiaries in Sokoto and Kebbi States in a 3-month accelerator programme to improve their business and financial skills. Women Digital Literacy Training in Zamfara State.

KANO STATE GOVERNMENT

State Actions Plans & Strategy. We are supporting Kano State Government for REDD+ Activation & Readiness. • We are supporting Kano State Government in Climate Change Policy Formulation through the Watershed, Erosion and Climate Change Management Agency (KN-WECCMA) • We are developing a Baseline Assessment on Climate Change Vulnerability for Kano State Government through Watershed, Erosion and Climate Change Management Agency (KN-WECCMA).

SIMPLE LINKS NETWORK AGENCY LTD

We conducted Capacity Building/Training for Simple Links Network Ltd in implementing the following projects engaged by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for the Cotton Farmers Association and Groundnut Farmers Association of Nigeria: Identification of farmers Farms mapping Farmers onboarding Extention, reporting and aggregation Disbursement for funds to palliative beneficiaries in twelve (12) states under SPW engaged by Heritage and Fidelity Banks. NCTO cash disbursements for Teasy Pay in sixteen (16) states of the Federation of Nigeria.
