About Me

Uche Okereke is a social project development and business administration expert. He specializes in the administration and financial management of projects. He has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from the United Kingdom and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria. He has over 18 years of diverse experience designing, developing, and executing social safeguard projects. Among the numerous social projects, He was part of the state consultant team responsible for monitoring and evaluating social developmental projects sponsored by the MDG across Benue State, Nigeria. He was among the research team that assessed the impact of the Fuel Poverty programs sponsored by the Big 6 energy companies in the UK. Uche is highly adept at measuring and reporting project impact and assessing its sustainability, including the systemic changes and unintended benefits attributable to projects. He was a part of a project team as a project administrator for the Urban Water Rehabilitation Program sponsored by the World Bank. He is also a project director of a construction team charged with delivering the building of a Multi-Lingual School for UBEC at Ganye Local Govt, Adamawa sponsored by The Islamic Development Bank. He was also the project manager for a European Union Commision-funded Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme Phase III (WSSSRP). Uche has diverse management experience working for numerous global companies such as Npower, (UK), EDF (UK), Peter Black (UK), and Jofos Industries Ltd (Nigeria). He has a proven track record of successfully leading and building teams, with exceptional communication and analytical skills. His negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills have made positive changes and impacts on rural community development and agricultural value-chain development in advancing sustainable development, food security, and climate action goals.
